The new Yamaha CVP409PE is the Flagship of the Clavinova CVP series the CVP409 has the same deluxe features as the CVP407, but with the addition of polished ebony finish and the beautiful feel and touch of Ivorite® key facings like you would find on £50,000 + Acoustic Grand Pianos.

Powerful Audio Recording and Playback
For the first time on a piano we can easily record what we are playing and store it as real sound (audio). It is saved directly to a USB pen drive which simply plugs into the instrument at the front. The recording can be used to make a CD through a computer or simply to playback. The CVP409PE will also record any singing you do through a microphone input!
You could copy your favourite CD's to WAV and then play them back on The CVP407, or why not buy some KAREOKE CD's where there is no melody so you can play along to a real sax,trumpet,drums etc!
Super Articulation
These are the voices that make the Clavinova CVP409PE so much better than its pre-decessor, the super articulation voices alter the character, texture,tone and nuances of the sound according to not just how hard you hit the key, but also the style in which your playing e.g. legato, staccato.
Music Finder System
This is what makes Yamaha CVP409PE the easiest to use digital piano. Just a straight forward alphabetical list of so1000's of song titles, e.g. if you want to play "fly me to the moon" just go down to letter F click on the song and instantly you have the best accompaniment and sounds to suit that particular tune.

Score Facility
The CVP409PE will display the notation of any midi file!!, therefore you can obtain the score of virtually any song ever produced and the cvp409PE will display any of the 16 parts contained within the midi file, the CVP409PE will of course display the notation to any recording you might create on the product.
Tuition Guide Facility
This is of real benefit to anybody wanting to improve their skills, following the notation on the screen if you play correctly then the song will continue in a seamless manner, however if you make a mistake or play using incorrect timing it wont.
Lyric Display
The CVP409PE will display the lyrics to any midi file which contains Lyric data You can therefore sing along using the in-built vocal harmoniser and sound like a quartet, Frank Sinatra or Orville the Duck!
