The boost mode features a very clean boost controlled by the volume control so as not to affect your tone as well as being used for simply boosting your signal which can weaken using long leads, especially on single coil pickups.
Blues mode is adapted from the classic blues amps of marshalls yester year. Keeping the warmth and deoth of the early amps, the blues mode allows theat crunchy sound for chord work or stand out licks needed for playing a real blues style.
