This type of single-cutaway electric is often associated with single-coil pickups, but on the Pacifica 120S Yamaha adds extra sonic muscle, loading in two meaty humbuckers plus the added versatility of a three-way pickup selector that gives an excellent, ringing rhythm sound in the middle position.
Though very keenly priced, the 120S features a solid alder body, a genuine rosewood fingerboard and a precisely engineered diecast bridge with six individually adjustable saddles.
