The Motif XS7 is packed with a large number of internal sounds. Each one has been developed from many years of Yamaha's technology to conjure up only the ultimate Motif sound set. The Motif XS has sounds which will blow your mind. SOlo Violins like oyu never heard, smooth string orchestras and amazing power synth sounds along with the all important stunning piano sound. The Motif XS7 takes sound to the extreme and does not hold back. The increased 76 note range helps with getting the most from the large motif sound set. The XA (Xpanded Articulation) takes sound to a new level and is a newly developed form of sound processing. Natural elements of and instruments sound have been taken into consideration i.e. the slide and fret noise of a guitar and harmonics, overblown woodwind effects and bowing different directions on the string have all been added to make the sound truly astounding.

The Motif's sounds can be layered and split across the keys for the ultimate performance set-up. The large LCD screen helps with all your edit's and changes making it much easier to operate.

XS7 Clever Arpeggiator System

The Motif XS7 houses a very clever 4 part arpeggiator. This can be used in a number of ways for your live performance or recording. There are over 6000 different prest arpeggio setting which can be used to trigger any number of bass riffs, lead lines, guitar strumming, drums of all styles and more!!! They arpeggio in the XS7 can also be used like a standard keyboarda nd they will follow notes oyu are playing on the Motif's keys including chords.
