The new Yamaha Motif XF8 brings new technology and customer/ user suggestions to life in this incredible new workstation.

Yamaha have worked closely with developers, production engineers and specialists to create the ultimate, professional workstation. The Motif XF8 is the result of all this work and with new options including 2Gb Flash memory expansion, VCM technology and an enormous 741Mb of waveforms you're sure not to be disappointed.

Flash Memory

The Motif XF8 will accomodate 2 x flash-board slots for 2 x proprietary Yamaha flash boards ( 512MB or 1GB). With the two 1GB boards installed, you have a total of 2GB of flash memory available to you. As this is rewritable flash memory, once you’ve loaded a sample in, it will remain in your Motif forever until you decide to replace it with something else.
