The Yamaha CVP-505PE Clavinova uses the new "Pure CF Sampling". Yamaha new samples have been taken from the Yamaha Full Concert Grand Piano CFIIIS, an award winning piano used in many international competitions. Yamaha chose the most suitable CFIIIS grand piano from all the models and pianos available to them and uses "long samples" to get the most natural and realistic sounds. The Yamaha CVP-505PE is the first new model to benefit from these incredibly rich piano tones significantly better than previous models
Piano Touch
The touchy feely of a real piano is so important to the enjoyment of playing, the CVP-505PE benefits from experience gained on the very best concert grands. The surface is made from a new compound developed by Yamaha which feels superb, just like ivory. Moisture is absorbed by the key for stable playing, stopping the fingers slipping on the keyboard. it is stain resistent and easy to wash off. This is the first time that Yamaha have incorporated this luxury feel to the CVP_05 range.
Vastly Improved Sound
The Yamaha CVP-505-PE benefits from the sounds used in the CVP409, Tyros2 and the Motif XS professional synthesiser with more sounds added and then sound quality improved.Drum Kits taken from the latest MM6. There are 689 voices on the CVP-505-PE in comparison to the CVP405's 414 ( More than the CVP409 !)
