Yamaha’s popular CJ12 Country Jumbo is known for its robust acoustic sound and clearly defined tone. The new CJX12 enhances the recipe by specifying a solid spruce top, and loads in a pro-quality two-way pickup system making the instrument a powerful band performer.
The piezo and mic signals can be blended together for a whole range of high quality sounds, and the internal mic is mounted on an adjustable gooseneck for optimum positioning and response. Additionally, the preamp’s three-band EQ has an adjustable wide-band midrange (80Hz - 10kHz) which not only maximises the tonal possibilities but, in conjunction with the phase switch, helps eliminate feedback at high volumes.
