Combining tradition with Vic Firth style, American Classics have a bold style and a full sound. The American Classics are turned from select Hickory - a dense wood with little flex - for a fuller, more pronouced sound. Hickory is a highly durable wood that can withstand a great deal of shock. For a more intense cymbal response, the tips are deeply back-cut into a teardrop shape. Very fast and light, making them excellent for light jazz and combo.
