Unlike many other Companies who simply apply a coloured finish to the instrument to give it the appearance of being old, Trevor James have simply taken the saxophone in it's raw manufactured condition, dip-cleaned it and added the mechanism. So when they say the instrument is RAW it truly is! The added bonus is that there is no polishing required - the more oxidised the finish gets, the better it looks.

The Trevor James Signature Custom Alto Saxophone Raw Features:

• Rather than having the usual treatment of polishing and buffing the brass, in this case the metal is left raw and simply 'dip cleaned'. Beyond this it is unlacquered such that the colour will fade with oxidisation. Trevor James advise that you don't polish this finish.
• Supplied with top quality accessories and an ebonite (hard rubber) mouthpiece.
