For Biffy Clyro fans, Fender bring you the the Squier Simon Neil Stratocaster - finished in a superb Fiesta Red, unique at this price point. Puts frontman Simon Neil’s own personal touch on a Squier Classic Vibe series instrument - closely based on his own Fender Custom Shop Time Machine 60s strat.
The Squier Simon Neil Stratocaster features an alder body with vintage-tint gloss maple neck, Simon’s signature on the back of the headstock and the Biffy Clyro band logo on the front.
Also featured is a 3-ply mint green pickguard, three custom vintage-style single-coil pickups utilizing a mix of AlNiCo III and V magnets - perfect for rhythm parts and rich, clear leads - vintage-style tuning machines and tremolo, and aged plastic parts.
Scottish alternative rock trio Biffy Clyro are known for complex and interwoven guitar riffs, chord sequences and melodies, and an intense and exciting live show. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Simon Neil and twins James Johnston (bass/vocals) and Ben Johnston (drums/vocals) in the mid-'90s, the band achieved mainstream U.K. success with 2007 Puzzle and a subsequent string of chart topping singles. Highly anticipated album Only Revolutions was released in November 2009.
