New pads
Featuring 2 x PDX8 and 2 x PDX6 mesh-head pads, the TD4KX is the best feeling affordable kit Roland have ever made! The practically indestructible mesh-head skins are designed in conjunction with Roland by drum skin manufacturer Remo for maximum realism, superb bounce and cool look.
New coach mode
The Roland TD4KX V Drum kit offers a new coach mode that improves any drummer for timing, strength and stamina. Different exercises built into the Roland TD4 drum module will help train over different times scales such as as 5, 10 or 15 mins with 5 different skill building options.
New Drum Sounds
The TD4 V-drum brain boasts more than 4 times the sample memory of its predecessor. This combined with new sample data means the TD4 sounds are better and more responsive than ever before.
Upgrade Options
The Roland TD4KX now has a new wiring harness which has an extra lead ready wired for an optional CY12 cymbal or other pad which can be assigned from the TD4 module. It is also compatible with the VH11 hi-hat so by replacing the CY5 with the VH11 you can have a more natural feel.
