New from Namm 2012: Roland HD-3 V-Drums Lite

Roland V-drums are renowned for their quality and the new HD-3 V-drum kit is no different. The HD-3 takes a step forward where the HD-1 left.

Roland have added key component upgrades to the HD-3 physical qualities as well as the software/ sound quality. The new drum module now has 20 preset kits which are all easily accessible from the new and larger HD-3 brain. A large backlit LCD display shows information about the selected kit and settings and is easily readable.

Roland have enhanced the physical playing capabilities of the HD-3 which is of key importance when getting the 'real' file of an acoustic kit. A new kick pedal system has made the response of the pedal much more natural just like that of a pedal with a beater. The main drum pads now also have a new cloth head to help improve response and set a more natural bounce for the drum stick.

Another enhancement to the new HD-3 V-drum kit is dual trigger pads. The snare and crash/ride are now dual trigger allowing for a much more natural response and performance.

The HD-3 drum brain has an aux. input perfect for plugging and playing along with MP3 players and your favourite songs.
