The Roland EP880 is a simple and stylish 88-key portable Stage Piano with a superb sound and large onboard speakers. The EP880 is fantastic for both home use (hobby or education) and stage use. Despite its compact body the speaker sound of EP880 is extremely powerful, delivering a lot of volume and a warm tone.

 

The piano in the EP880 is simply superb. There are 15 sounds in all on the EP880 including piano, strings, organ, E.Piano and harpsicord sounds. To add another dimension to your sound the EP880 can layer sounds together and also have split sounds. This is great if you want to have a string or bass in your left and a piano in your right hand!

There is also a transpose feature on the front panel for easy and instant Transpose.

 

The EP880 has a 2 track recorder which can be used for layering your recording ifoyu can not play it all at once or for doing left and right hand parts seperately. It is also a great way to see how your playing actually sounds and improve on your playing skills! The Roland EP880 can store 1 song internally.

There is also a nice selection of in-built songs to play with. In-fact there are a total of 66 songs in the EP880 memory.

 

The Roland EP880 is a portable piano yet has a superb on-board speaker system. The internal speakers power out a 10w x2 output. This is excellent as a monitor, for home use or simply practice. ON most portable pianos the sound is never done justice but on the EP880, Roland have broken the rules.
