Remo Pinstripe Coated 24 Inch Bass Drum Skin
The pinstripe coated is made with a double layer 7-mil mylar film. This creates a tough skin offering a warm attack and 80's sound. great for fat Rock and R&B drums. The skin almost sounds dampened and offers less sustain and resonance than others.
This combined with other bass drum skins could create a warm punchy sound with a little back end sustain or whatever suits you. But the Pinstripe coated is a unique sound and will work well with other resonants when used as a batter.
