Remo Emperor X Coated 14 Inch Black Dot Drum Skin

For the most durable Mylar heads in the world, look no further than the Emperor X series. Made from two free-floating plies of 10-mil Mylar film and a 5-mil black dot on the underside of the skin, they provide warm, focused, consistent tones. Extremely popular among many hard hitting Rock drummers today.

With the Emperor X, Remo have made their thickest snare head. Originally a custom built head, it was soon changed into a normal built head as it gained respect among more and more drummers.

It all started with Mike Fasano (of Warrant) who fell in love with the idea of a snare head with 'attitude', and was created a lot of buzz about this 20-mil head.
