Based on technology from Yamaha’s award-winning Tyros range of keyboards, the PSR S550 boasts over 650 voices, utilizing Yamaha's AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) stereo sampling system.

The Yamaha PSR S550 keyboard features 61 full-sized keys with touch-response. The extensive selection of sounds and features are accessed from the large backlit LCD which displays all key functions simply and offers instant access to controls and parameters.

With a large range of drum patterns and accompaniments and access to a huge music database, the Yamaha PSR S550 allows complete performances to be created easily. To add the finishing touch to your performance, studio grade DSP options offer over 180 signal processing effects. The PSR S550 can also be connected to a computer via USB, ideal for use with popular sequencer software package.
