Korg SV1 Vintage Stage Piano

The Korg SV1 (73 note) is quite possibly the gigging musicians perfect piano. Offering an assortment of superior quality vintage sound such as E.Piano, organ, strings and more developed using Korg's RX technology combined with 6 seperate effect stages, amp modelling and more, the new SV1 has it all in one slim, portable instrument. Korg have even included a reactor tube 12AX7 for a truly real and vintage sound.

SV1 - Whats it all about

Designed with performance in mind, Korg have come up with a great portable stage piano capable of faithully reproducing the loved classic and vintage sounds we all know and want and combined it with modern technology. The result is stunning. The SV1 allows the user access to the effect pedals, speaker cabinets, amplifiers and studio techniques of yesteryear.

The SV1 is available in 73 and 88 note weighted versions and uses the Korg RH3 Real hammer piano action. This has been combined with a classic chiq look. The SV1 73 note is finished in red while the SV1 88 note is finished in carbon grey.

Hand On

The SV1 is made for live use. Every essential control is quickly accessible on the front panel, with no confusing menus or multiple button presses. Rotary knobs include illuminated LED’s to show the position of the knob, and can be pressed to restore the original setting. For really quick changes, the SV-1 has eight car-radio style buttons to instantly call up your eight Favorite sounds and settings. Storing a Favorite is equally as easy.

Connectivity

Not only is the SV1 perfect for live use it couples perfectly with the computer. The librarian software/ editor will allow you to edit parameters not accessible through tyhe SV-1 front panel and may just start people swapping their sound on the internet! As well as computer connectivity the SV1 also has multiple connection options on the rear such as balanced XLR outputs, audio inputs, MIDI conections and 3 pedal sockets!
