R3 Powerful Vocoder
As well as the mighty sounds in the Korg R3, Korg have included a powerful 16 band Vocoder. The vocoder can adjust your voice to sound like a robot or other modulated sound to emulate the synth talking. The Korg R3 also has formants so you can record up to 16 lots of 7.5 second samples of vocoding and trigger them just by playing keys instead of having to talk all the time! Of course as with all the sounds the vocoder can be put through the 2 insert FX and master FX system of the R3 so any sound you can imagine can be created.
To make life a little easier Korg have included R3 editing software so you can control all aspects of you vocoder, timbres and controls on the computer.
