For the PA2X Pro, Korg redesigned what was already one of the most powerful synth sound-engines available with their PA1X Pro to give you an even richer, more detailed, sophisticated sound than ever before.
With musical instruments from almost every genre exploding with nuance, depth, accuracy, subtlety and richness, the Korg PA2X Pro uses several sounds from the Korg OASYS (the most powerful synthesizer ever made) and sets a new benchmark for arranger keyboards.
The sound memory of the Korg PA2X Pro has been boosted significantly to achieve even better quality and boasts all new multi-level samples of the instruments you know and love. The polyphony has been expanded to 120 notes to comfortably handle the various levels of articulation, and cover any kind of busy passage.
There are over 950 ROM sounds built in to the Korg PA2x including an all new multi-layer stereo Acoustic Piano sound accurately sampled from a Concert Grand (including String and Damper Pedal resonance!), and 63 drum kits. The RAM area contains up to 256 user sounds, 64 drum kits and includes full on-board sound editing.
