The Korg Electribe EMX1 is a powerful piece of dance music gear that covers everything from making stunning tracks to exhilarating live performances. If you use turntables the EMX1 can also sync up with the beat automatically!

Korg have set the standard with the mighty EMX1 SD capabilities. There are 196 preset patterns in the EMX1 for you to manipulate, play with and basically tear apart however you want. Every genre of dance music is covered from Hardcore, Drum and Bass through to Techno and house.
The new 2010 upgrades mean the EMX-1 SD has been given a new leash of life. Ninja Tune/Big Dada artists Emika and the Anti-pop Consortium are contributors, as well as U.K. MySpace artist Shrikednb (Tom Thorpe); plus YouTube stars Denkitribe, mryat and Scribej. Simply listening to these new patterns will nourish your desire to create cutting-edge music.
The patterns in the MX1 can be created using the simple but intuitive recording system. Step and real-time recording is available for oyu to lay down your punchy bass lines and filtered drum beats and leads. Parts can be musted, filtered, effected and modified in realtime for live performance and all performances can be saved into songs.
Taking it one step further Korg have added a Ribbon controller, extra assignable outputs, world class MMT sound engine and twin vacum tube circuitry to the EMX1 making it a leader in its field.
