Focusrite have stepped up the game with the new Scarlett 8i6 USB2.0 audio interface. For the first time Focusrite have adventured into USB2.0 territory and have set a new standard of high quality, affordable audio interfaces.
Scarlett Mix Control
The 8i6 has an array of routing capabilities using the included Scarlet Mixcontrol software. The system the MixControl software enables you to create six separate mixes with ultra-low-latency. Route any combination of input signals and sequencer outputs to any of the Scarlett 8i6 outputs. Intuitive one-click configurations help you track, monitor and mix as quickly as possible.
Array of Inputs and Outputs
The Scarlett 8i6 is loaded with a multitude of ins/ outputs. 2 Front mounted Balanced TRS inputs with award winning Mic Pre-amps, 2 rear mounted balanced line inputs along with SPDIF and virtual loopback. There is also standard 5pin MIDI input/output connections. There are also 4 rear mounted balanced ouput for speakers and routing to other external processors along with the SPDIF connector.
Xcite Bundle
Included with the Scarlet interface is all the tools needed to record and create your music. Ableton Live Lite 8, a fully functional recording software package is included along with a full blown Virtual synth and over 1Gb of royalty free samples.
