1972 was a magical year for the Fender Telecaster guitar, which was by that point available in a variety of designs and provided guitarists with more options than ever before.
The Fender Classic 72 Telecaster Deluxe features many of those options, including an alder body, a C-shaped maple neck, bullet truss rod, 1970s vintage hardtail strings-through stratocaster bridge, three-bolt neckplate, 1970s Strat headstock, two 'Wide Range' humbuckers, traditional three-way switching and four skirted amp knobs.
