Fender American Vintage 62 Custom Telecaster
The Fender American Vintage 62 Custom Telecaster features a beautiful double bound alder body, 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard and a pair of Vintage S.C. Custom pickups for a classic tone. Historically, the 62 Tele differed from its Butterscotch predecessor not only in finish but with its multi-ply pickguard and rosewood fingerboard, introduced partly for cosmetic reasons because maple was prone to showing wear, but also for the warmth it added to the classic Telecaster tone.
A vintage Telecaster bridge with threaded steel saddles and classic Tele circuitry with 3 way switching keeps this guitar in the spirit of the original.
