Akai SynthStation 49
Akai have released the first dedicated iPad music controller in the form of the SynthStation 49. Seamlessly integrated with Akai's Synthstation software, the new dedicated controller integrates MPC style drum pads, 49 velocity sensitive keys and a selection of transport controls.
The iPad has a special dock in the centre of the SynthStation 49 housing making it easy access to all controls on the app. Not only will the Synth Station 40 be compatible with its own software but will work with many apps. direct from the app store due to the use of the CoreMIDI coding.
The pads are perfect fo accessing any of the 50 drum kits incorporated into the software app. whilst the Synth Station 49 controller has 2 TRS outputs for connection to other devices and audio equipment.
