The Akai MPK49 offers the complete controller package in a compact instrument. Whether using it on the move, or at any home or professional studio the MPK49 has all the controls and facilities to access anything you need from your DAW system.

The Akai MPC range of products gained massive reputation in the world of pro-music. Akai have taken the elements which made the MPC so great and added them to the MPK range of controllers. A selection of 12 velocity sensitive MPC style pads are laid out for ease of access on the top panel of the MK49 while a whole host of assignable controllers are neatly laid out to the right of the top panel. Transport controls are also included for the maximum creativity and time saving when using your DAW.

Not forgetting the 49 full size, velocity sensitive keys with aftertouch, the Akai MPK49 is a true MIDi keyboard controller. USB buss power means no need for a power supply, simply plug in a single USB lead and the entire instrument, controller data and power is all supplied down the 1 single cable.
