New, improved drum rack
Perhaps most importantly about this MKII version of the 2Box drum kit is the improvements made to the drum rack. While the focus still remains on keeping the rack light-weight and easy to set-up, the hardware has been 'beefed up' and is considerably more heavy duty and roadworthy than its predecessor. It allows the user to adjust the pads and cymbals to their particular playing style. The kick position is adjustable but mounted to the stand, to ensure no slipping back during performance.
Use any make of drum head!
Are you a fan of Evans or Aquarian drum skins? Or do you prefer the feel of a Remo Ambassador? Use the head of your choice on the 2Box Drumit 5 MKII - their unique pad system offers the capability to play any type of regular drum head, mesh head or their own new rubber head. All drum skins heads are exchangeable in the same way as you would on a normal acoustic drum.
Be unique - play your own sounds!
Thanks to the DrumIt Five editor (compatible with PC or Mac), you can load in your own personal multi-sampled sounds from .wav, .aiff or .rex files. Together with sounds from the DrumIt library, the possibilites are endless for creating your own unique kits and sound sets. When 2Box MKII is connected to a computer by USB, all sounds and kits can easily be downloaded to the internal Flash memory. Use the editor to download complete kits or just drag-and-drop from the computer's file manager.

Choose from an array in the DrumIt sound library, made by top artists, recorded in multi-channel multi-layer format in professional studios. Each sound has been carefully edited to offer unsurpassed sound quality for recording or live use.
Play along, practice to songs
Within the 2Box module is the Play along feature, which can be set up to trigger loops by hitting a pad or by hitting play on the module. Drum along to your own sequences or connect a CD or mp3 player to the line in socket.
